Today, every creative designer loves the hand-painted wallpaper, it is fabulous, the possibilities brilliant. For about one hundred and thirty dollars a square metre, you can choose from a large array of sample papers or supply your own custom design. You will then confirm if you would prefer wallpaper made from paper or silk and of course you must choose the colours.

About one week later your specified sample will arrive for approval and then work on your paper can begin. No shortage of talent in this room. Yes, I also ordered two samples for my personal home... I just couldn't resist, so one of my guest rooms and my dressing room will be covered with hand-painted silk paper. I couldn't use the hand-painted paper in every room, so my next stop was a large wallpaper supplier with books and samples from wallpaper manufacturers around the world. Even the most expensive papers can become quite reasonable when you employ them
in small spaces, such as a powder room. So how about some wall candy? Perhaps this weekend you could spend some time at your local designer showroom scouring the wallpaper books for your next project; after all with winter just around the corner, a wall just has to cover up.
